How do I add chocolate chips to pancake mix?

since the chocolate chips start out cold you have more time to cover them with additional batter before they melt.

  1. pour in the batter.
  2. add the chocolate chips.
  3. add another spoonful of batter and cover the chocolate chips.
  4. repeat for each remaining pancake.
  5. flip them when ready and cook the other side.
