crack your egg into a small bowl and then slowly ease into the centre of the whirlpool. the egg white will wrap around itself in the direction of the whirlpool. cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly firm but still with a visibly runny yolk. drain with your ladle and place on paper towel to absorb unwanted water.
