  1. 6 large egg yolks.
  2. 1/2 cup granulated sugar.
  3. 1 cup heavy whipping cream.
  4. 2 cups milk.
  5. 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg.
  6. pinch of salt.
  7. 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract.
