heat oven to 425degf. heat a heavy-bottomed, oven-safe saute pan over medium-high heat. add the oil and sear the tenderloin on all sides until well browned. place entire pan in the oven and roast for 8-10 minutes or until it reaches an internal temperature of 145degf.
