add 14 oz sliced sausage, 1 1/2 lbs diced potatoes, 3 corn cobs halved, 1/2 onion and 6 garlic cloves to a large slow cooker. add 5 cups water and 1/4 cup old bay seasoning and 2 tsp fresh thyme. cook on high heat 3 hours or until potatoes are tender. remove corn to make room for shrimp if needed.
