instructions

  1. heat the oil in a pan or fryer to 180degc or 350degf.
  2. sprinkle the squid with salt and a pinch of smoked paprika.
  3. dip them into the flour, followed by the egg and finally into the bread crumbs.
  4. batch fry the squid in two batches.
  5. each batch should take 2 minutes to brown and cook through.
