for the filling & icing

  1. 50g butter, plus extra for the tin.
  2. 140g dark chocolate , broken into squares.
  3. 1 tbsp golden syrup.
  4. 284ml pot double cream.
  5. 200g icing sugar, sifted.
  6. 2-3 extra strong mints, crushed (optional)
  7. icing sugar and holly sprigs to decorate - ensure you remove the berries before serving.
