How do you get steamed pudding out of mold?

using potholders, remove the mold from the pot. remove the lid (be sure the steam escapes away from you). let the pudding sit on a wire cake rack for 10 minutes. use a small sharp knife to loosen the pudding from around the sides at the top of the mold and around the top of the center tube.
