roll out the dough into a 18 x 12 inch rectangle. as you can see in the picture, the dough should be very thin, no more than 1/4 inch thick. rolling the dough this thin will give us a perfect, neat spiral for our cinnamon rolls and make sure there is the most cinnamon sugar layer swirled throughout.
