When making corn pudding do you drain the corn?

i always put the sour cream in it and i do drain the can of whole kernel corn. it doesn't need anything added to it, it's just good. i always add a cup of cheddar cheese on the top for the last 10 minutes of cooking. if you add eggs then drain your corn, if you don't add eggs the don't drain your can/cans of corn.
