preheat the oven to 350 degrees f. place the beef on a rack in the roasting pan and put it into the oven. bake the steak, 10 minutes for rare, 12 minutes for medium-rare, 15 minutes for medium and 20 minutes for well done. remove the steaks and put aside in a warm place to rest.
