how long can you keep fresh-caught tuna? fresh-caught tuna will go bad in the fridge after 48 hours. do not refrigerate tuna for more than 2 days as it will lead to microbes spreading and poisoning the fish. tuna will stay fresh in the fridge for 2 days if it is thoroughly rinsed and wiped and wrapped in foil.
