  1. 1/3 cup butter (room temperature)
  2. 3/4 cup brown sugar (not packed)
  3. 3/4 teaspoon vanilla.
  4. 1 egg (room temperature)
  5. 2 mashed bananas (ripe to very ripe)
  6. 1 1/2 cups cake flour.
  7. 1 teaspoon baking powder.
  8. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda.
