shakshouka (arabic: shkshwk@, also spelled shakshuka or chakchouka) is a maghrebi dish of eggs poached in a sauce of tomatoes, olive oil, peppers, onion and garlic, commonly spiced with cumin, paprika and cayenne pepper.
