as nouns the difference between tagliatelle and linguine

is that tagliatelle is long, flat ribbons of pasta, originally from emilia-romagna, sliced from a rolled-out sheet while linguine is ribbons of pasta, cut from a sheet, not as wide as tagliatelle.
