  1. 1 (15.25-ounce) box cake mix (any flavor) (i like dark chocoalte, strawberry, and lemon.)
  2. 1/3 cup vegetable oil.
  3. 2 large eggs.
  4. 1 cup chocolate chips* (optional - see note)
