make a slit in the hot dog and add a couple strips of cheese into each hot dog. or wrap slices of cheese around the dog before wrapping in the dough. use whatever cheese you want - american cheese, cheddar, provolone, pepper jack, mozzarella, etc. then wrap up in the crescent dough and bake!
